About Me

My journey into quilting began about 12 years ago when a very good friend decided that I needed to learn this craft and the rest they say is history.  I have made numerous quilts for family and friends and had been quilting them on my domestic machine which is cumbersome for a quilt larger than a capsize (even that was a struggle.  About seven or eight years ago I went to the MQX longarm convention in New Hampshire where I encountered a longarm machine and knew this was the answer I was looking for.  After much research and contemplating I purchased an APQS longarm with a table that will accommodate everything including a king size quilt. I love seeing how a quilt top becomes even more beautiful when it has been quilted, the stitching seems to bring the quilt to life.
